The country is amazing for surfing and swimming. Indonesia has quite a lot of natural hazards and disasters. They had over 10 volcano eruption from all three centuries.  The main difference between hazards disasters and catastrophe is that a natural hazard is a natural process and event that is a potential threat to human life and property. A disaster is a hazardous event that occurs over a limited time span within a defined area.
